That’s way too late. It starts every day when they wake up. Every night when they go to sleep. And everything in between.

These are a few examples from my series of 30-minute presentations for athletes (ages 13-18) which take a holistic approach to their well-being. These sessions are designed to open athletes’ eyes to how closely life habits and sports performance connect. I quickly establish rapport. I tap into their motivations and dreams. And before long, they are building skills and resiliency in each area.

I've developed a curriculum, a roadmap for progress. Each session creates quick wins. Quick wins encourage repeated healthy behaviors. As a person's identity shifts, they embody these new behaviors – even if in the past the changes didn't stick. The healthy choice becomes the easy choice and sport performance naturally improves with less struggle.
